Modular Watertube Boilers from Miura

is known worldwide for a commitment to protecting the environment and innovative and efficient boiler designs. The low NOx steam and hot water boilers meet and exceed current and proposed regulations for nitrogen oxide emissions levels, as low as 12ppm NOx at 3%, corrected O2. The EX Gas/Oil Series High Pressure Steam Boiler is the most versatile industrial steam boiler in the world. Faster start-up means less fuel used, greater savings, and more responsible use of precious natural resources. The LX Series steam boilers provide high capacities in a smaller footprint, saving up to 20% in fuel costs and up to 50% of the space required compared to traditional boiler designs.

Modular systems with quick-response capabilities allow customers to receive steam “on demand” as their loads require. This is great for district heating systems, hospital systems and process applications where steam loads vary dramatically each day and during the year. This means that Miura boilers are saving valuable fuel during low load swings and high turn-down periods when other boilers would be idling and burning fuel to maintain pressure. Miura also has developed an integrated water softener system, which ties the boiler, softener, feedwater and chemical systems together in a single system, to save on chemical and water treatment costs, and improve overall system efficiency.

Firetube, Watertube and Condensing Boilers from Superior Boiler

Packaged Industrial Watertube Boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Biomass & Solid Fuel Boilers from English Boiler, LLC

English Boiler, LLC designs, manufactures and constructs utility, industrial and commercial grade watertube boilers, Lamont style high temperature hot water generators, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and alternative energy systems.

English Boiler pioneered the concept of Shop-Modular boilers, which features an entire steam plant that is designed and built in the shop, and assembled into modules built into weatherproof enclosures that include all internal wiring, piping and controls factory-installed.  These modules are shipped to customers’ sites for field assembly and startup.  This approach reduces field labor to a minimum and can be operating within a few weeks.

English Boiler’s unique and patented Ds series design (shown above) is a variation on the traditional “D” style boiler, with a more symmetrical, compact layout that reduces the installation footprint, center of gravity, and shipping costs compared to more conventional designs.  The Ds series also includes a large, square furnace area that promotes more efficient combustion and reduced emissions.

English Boiler’s east coast manufacturing facility near Richmond, VA provides easy access to transportation by road, rail or water.

Immersion Firetube Boilers from GBT

The unique burner assembly in the immersion-fired boilers delivers mixed air/gas through multiple nozzles. The air/gas mixture is ignited as it exits each nozzle and is forced into each tube at high velocity and goes through the boiler at a single pass. This design improves heat transfer and virtually eliminates thermal stress and refractory materials to reduce maintenance costs.

Biogas and methane boilers allow steam to be generated from low energy biogas from landfills, wastewater treatment plants, settlement ponds and agricultural waste. These can be offered in dual-fuel designs, which can burn natural gas when biogas is low or unavailable. Clean Steam boilers for low-pressure steam applications have tubes that are sheathed in copper. The copper expands and contracts during heating cycles, causing any accumulated hardness to ball to the bottom of the boiler where it is removed during normal blowdown cycles. The copper-clad tubes and epoxy lining of the internal shell allow the boilers to be used without deaerators, feedwater systems, pumps or chemicals. These boilers can be fed directly from building water supplies.

Compact Boilers from Columbia Boiler

Columbia’s MPH Series is competitively priced, narrow in width and easily serviced. This boiler is a modified Scotch, three-pass fire tube design for use as a 15-PSI-steam or 30-PSI-water unit. The sizes range from 5 BHP to150 BHP, natural gas or LP gas, #2 oil, dual fuel or biogas fired. Ideal for: breweries, distilleries, schools, apartments, bakeries, brewpubs, Laundromats, dairies and many more applications. Most sizes can be fit through a standard 36” doorway.

Columbia manufactures several designs to economically use waste motor oil, cooking oil, transmission fluids and other petroleum-based fuels to generate low-pressure steam and hot water for hydronic heating, domestic water heating, parts cleaning and process heating applications. Typical applications for these boilers include truck and auto dealerships and repair facilities, quick-lube shops, transmission repair facilities and truck & car wash facilities.
